Amit Maity, MD, PhD
Dr. Maity is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology, actively engaged in both research and clinical practice. His basic research focuses on understanding the regulation of VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), an important factor for blood vessel development in tumors. Since 1997, Dr. Maity has also been treating children with cancer with radiation therapy. Most of the children treated at HUP are referred from the Children's Hospital of Phildelphia (CHOP), one of the leading cancer treatment facilities in the world. Dr. Maity regularly attends pediatric oncology conferences at CHOP, allowing him to keep abreast of the latest developments in the treatment of childhood cancer.

Anna Meadows, MD
A pediatric oncologist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Dr. Meadows currently directs the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania's Survivorship Research Program and provides senior leadership to "Living Well After Cancer". She was founding director of the National Cancer Institute's Office of Cancer Survivorship and is a national expert on the after-effects of treatment for childhood cancer.

Giulio J. D'Angio, MD
Dr. D'Angio is Professor Emeritus of Radiation Oncology and Pediatric Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His long-standing interest has been in pediatric radiation therapy. In addition, he is Past-Director of the Children's Cancer Research Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he devoted his work to the treatment and late effects of childhood cancer.

Wendy Hobbie, RN, CRNP
The Coordinator of the Survivorship Program at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the Associate Program Director of the Pediatric Oncology Program at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing, Wendy has worked with survivors of childhood cancer over the past two decades offering comprehensive care. She has also been involved in research to improve the quality of care survivors receive and understanding the physical and pschosocial effects of surviving childhood cancer. Wendy is a co-author of Childhood Cancer Survivors: A Practical Guide to your Future, O'Reilly Press.
