Description

The Gastronomy (G-tube) allows nutrients to be delivered directly into the stomach if one is unable to eat or unable to eat enough food to maintain adequate nutritional status. One end of the tube is in the stomach and the other end comes out through the skin of the abdomen. The G-tube is surgically placed in the stomach.
