DescriptionThe nasoenteric tube is a long, thin, flexible feeding tube which is passed through the nose into the stomach or small intestine. It carries nutrients into your body when you are unable to eat or unable to eat enough. ("Naso" refers to nose and "enteric" refers to your intestinal tract.) The thin tube can be inserted through your nose while you are in your bed. The tube will be taped to your nose to prevent it from moving.
