DescriptionA PEG Tube is a feeding tube that is placed in the stomach to give feedings to people unable to eat or unable to eat enough food by mouth to maintain adequate nutritional status. The tube is inserted by using a special device called an endoscope. One end of the tube is in the stomach and the other end comes out through the skin of the abdomen. |
