I have chosen to examine my conflicting emotions of loss, anger, pain, and resentment through my art, to tell stories of the ever-changing dynamics of parents and children -- holding on and letting go. As I explore my role, I can make the invisible visible to myself as well as others.
Reunion Cheers a Father
This print is a response to "Robert." By etching directly over the previous image of pain, I hope to show how memories and pleasure sustain us through difficult times. I believe that the more happy memories we have, the faster the healing process is.
