Wilms' Tumor is the most common abdominal tumor in children and hence an important topic in Pediatric Oncology. Because it is a malignancy that occurs in the young, aggressive approaches have been sought to increase chances of cure with low morbidity.
MD2B is a comprehensive resource dedicated to oncologic issues and directed towards the medical students' needs. It was created to help spark the interest of students who will ultimately make contributions to our knowledge of oncology, leading to better care of patients and survivors of cancer.
This presentation goes over some basic information about Wilm's Tumor, but focuses on the studies that have refined therapeutic approaches to this malignancy.
