This is a poignant video documentary by film student Ian Aronson. The film is about people living with the diagnosis of cancer. The documentary explores the lives of three people recently diagnosed with cancer. Each person is interviewed shortly after his or her diagnosis, and again three months later.

The patients Steve, Diane, and Mona each discuss their emotions, concerns, and changes in their lives brought on by the recent diagnosis. After a three month interval, the second interview takes place. These meetings emphasize each subject's plans for the future. The viewer is able to gain insight into how they are coping with the diagnosis and dealing with the people around them. The film also observes the participants in actual group therapy and support sessions.

This is an excellent and honest documentary, which is worthwhile viewing for those people who are diagnosed with a life threatening illness, as well as the friends and family who surround them. The poignant emotional issues of these people living with the diagnosis of cancer will touch all who watch the video.
